Once you have completed your course at Alfa-Fredensborg, you will receive a coin during the graduation ceremony. Once you have this coin you are welcome for the rest of your life to come and stay for a few days if you like. It can be a great help if you are going through a difficult time and perhaps feel you need a stronger drug-free network.

The community and atmosphere in the house can help you through difficult times and help you avoid relapse.

You can use the coin as many times as you like throughout your life. If there is no space in the house, you can camp on the large lawn. If you can afford to pay a little for diet that’s fine, but it’s not a requirement.

It is important that you are not in need of treatment as you are not enrolled, do not attend group meetings and cannot draw on staff resources. The coin can be used alone to be part of the drug-free community with the other residents. In this way, you can use Alfa as a kind of refuge where you can go and get some rest.

If you need treatment, you must be referred through your addiction centre.
